Appointment of the Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Seychelles Petroleum Company Limited (SEYPEC)

The Board of the Seychelles Petroleum Company Limited (SEYPEC) has today announced the appointment of Captain Adrian Mondon, as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Mrs Brenda Gobine, as the Deputy CEO, effective from 20th December 2025.

Captain Mondon brings extensive experience in the petroleum and maritime logistics sector, having 23 years of experience in the maritime sector and serving 11 years as a Captain on the SEYPEC tankers. He has played a key role in strengthening the company’s commercial operations, enhancing fleet management efficiency, and supporting strategic reforms to maintain SEYPEC’s competitiveness. His deep understanding of both the local and international energy landscape equips him to lead SEYPEC through its next phase of operational modernisation and strategic growth.

Mrs. Gobine has effectively served the organisation  across several technical and administrative capacities. She has been instrumental in advancing corporate governance standards, supporting operational planning, and strengthening organisational performance frameworks. Her leadership experience and strong understanding of SEYPEC’s strategic priorities make her well positioned to support the CEO and contribute to ensuring continuity and stability within the executive team.

Captain Mondon’s and Mrs. Gobine’s appointment has been made in consultation with the Minister responsible for Finance and the President of the Republic in accordance with the provisions of the Public Enterprises Act, 2023.

The Board expresses its appreciation to Mrs. Sarah Romain for her service and contributions during her tenure as CEO and wishes her well in her future endeavours.
